Stewardship of Our Treasure your offering of as little as 1 hours wage will help meet our daily needs. Last Sunday Offertory was £1041 & Building fund £370. Thank you.

Faith Summer Session 31 July – 4 August Faith Summer Session is a five day conference for young Catholics at Woldingham School, Surrey. It consists of an excellent balance of social, spiritual and catechetical activities, attracting students and young Catholics from around the country. This year’s guest speaker is Archbishop Leo Cushley. Contact Fr Daniel for booking form or go online.

Ascension of the Lord this Thursday is a Holy Day of Obligation and all Catholics are obliged to attend Mass. Mass will be at 9.30am with the school joining us; 11am at Craig en Goyne, all welcome and 7pm.

Youth Group Due to there being Mass there will be no Youth Group this week.

Cream Tea Bingo will be held in the hall this Wednesday after 7pm Mass. Open to all, please come along and support our social.

Dementia Group are hosting a Sing a Long with guitarist/singer Jean Doolan in the hall next Wednesday, 31st, 1pm - 4pm. All donations go towards the work of Alzheimer Scotland. Please join us and show that we care. Everyone is asked to wear something purple. Tea, coffee & biscuits on offer.

Funeral Arrangements for Margaret Cavanagh. Reception, today, Sunday at 1:15pm and Requiem Mass tomorrow, Monday at 9:30am.

Caritas Group has almost been established a full year. During this time we have been very blessed to have so many people volunteer for this group. We have also been very blessed with a variety of great talks. This Wednesday we are having a review & planning meeting and would be delighted to welcome anyone who might see a need within the parish that we could address.

SCIAF BOXES The final total for the wee box collection was £4,399. Well done to everyone who contributed. A cheque for £617 was also sent for the African Famine appeal, the proceeds from the recent coffee morning. Also big thank you and well done to the young ladies who have spent many hours counting and banking this money.

In Your Prayers please remember the housebound, sick & anniversaries that occur at this time.

Parish Day Out last year we had a wonderful day out to Largs. This year we are heading north to beautiful Pitlochry on Saturday 17th June. The coaches will leave at 10.15am from Chapel house arriving at 12noon. There is much to do, see and lots of great shops in this highland town. There are a number of great walks, Pitlochry Gardens, Golf Course with spectacular views etc. We will gather about 4.30pm for High Tea and return home by 7.30pm. Please add you name to the list at the back of Chapel and add a tick for your choice of meal. Cost for the day £13.

Pilgrimage to Dunfermline – Sunday 11th June The minibus will leave outside Chapel House at 10am. This will allow you to visit the different pilgrim sites, have lunch then join the procession, led by the Archbishop, from the main gate at Pittencrieff Park to St. Margaret’s Memorial Church for veneration of the relic and Holy Mass at 4pm. Returning home at 6pm. List at the back to sign up.

COOP We are delighted to inform you, that the parish youth group have been nominated by the local Coop to receive sponsorship this year. They inform us that 1% of all sales of Coop branded products goes to a nominated local charity. Can I ask, when you are shopping in the Coop, you request that the 1% of your purchases goes to St Patrick’s Youth group. We have also been fundraising with a raffle of an Easter Bunny and selling spring plants. Thank you for your ongoing support for our young people.
