 - St. Patrick's Parish Day Out -

Parish Day out to St Andrews on Saturday 15 June. After Morning Mass, two coaches with 82 people of all ages travelled to wonderful thee wonderful town of St Andrews. A place steeped in cultural and religious history. On arrival the local parish priest led us in a service with the relic of St. Andrew. After discovering the great ancient sites, a visit to the beach, coffee shops, and of course the shops we headed south to Burntisland. At The Bay hotel we enjoyed a very delicious meal, wonderful service and spectacular views. We returned home at 8pm all very pleasantly tired!

We are always eager for new members and anyone is welcome regardless of age with absolutely no requirement for previous experience or an audition (none of the members within our choir read music). Being part of the choir is great fun, it is a great opportunity to develop a talent and make new friends, not to mention, spiritually rewarding. We are always keen to have more musicians within our group and would be extremely grateful for anyone willing to share their talent wether it be on the organ or any orchestral instrument.

E-News Updates LAUNCHED
The Archdiocese of St Andrews & Edinburgh is delighted to launch a brand new news service – the e-news update. All you have to do is sign up at our website and we’ll send you a regular e-mail with the latest news, views and information about the Catholic Church in this part of Scotland.

“How entirely fitting that we launch this new e-news service today upon the Feast of St Francis de Sales, the patron saint of journalists and one of the greatest communicators that the Church has ever raised up,” said Archbishop Leo Cushley, 24 January.

“The e-news update is a great way for Catholics – and many others – to keep up to date with everything that the Archdiocese of St Andrews & Edinburgh is doing to proclaim the joy of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the one and a half million people who live within the bounds of our diocese.”

To sign up, just click on the link below and scroll down the page where you can subscribe to the e-news update https://archedinburgh.org/news-events.

Thank you. St Francis de Sales, pray for us!
